Interteach private primary school
Interteach is a private primary school in Oisterwijk. Interteach aims to educate children to become global citizens and critical thinkers who are prepared for tomorrow’s world. This calls for innovative education, with a focus on global awareness.
We provide bilingual education in a small-scale educational community, in which everyone is challenged to give of their very best and extend their boundaries. We offer more challenge than mainstream education can provide. Interteach strives to achieve the best possible quality and offers differentiated teaching from the most experienced teachers. This is why Interteach stands for the very best quality in private education.
What is private education?
In the Netherlands, a private school is a school that is recognised by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science, but is not funded by the government. The parents fund the education themselves. A private school must meet certain quality standards and the Dutch Inspectorate of Education supervises compliance with these standards.
Why opt for private primary education?
In today’s complex, fast-changing society, increasing demands are being placed on schools and teachers. The introduction of the Appropriate Education Act (Wet op Passend Onderwijs) means that schools have a duty of care for all children and teachers have to deal with relatively large class sizes. Interteach private education involves working with small groups (up to 10 students), ensuring that each child receives the care he or she needs. We offer a solid basic curriculum and an extensive programme of options, enabling every child to fulfil his or her potential. Our education is aimed at all children who need a greater challenge than that on offer through mainstream education and who wish to develop to become talented students, where everyone can excel in learning, creativity and sport at their own level.
